Official Newcastle United injury update confirms 4 miss Fulham match plus 2 unknowns

5 Nov 2026 - 16:34

A Newcastle United injury update ahead of playing Fulham at the weekend.

A 3pm kick-off at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Matthias Jaissle and his Newcastle United team with their final game before yet another international break.

Thursday afternoon seeing the United boss giving a Newcastle United injury update.

With four players set to definitely miss and two unknowns.

Tino Livramento and Ewen Jaouen are long-term injuries and set to be missing still until at least after this international break.

Jacob Ramsey misses due to suspension, having picked up two yellows and a red on Monday night.

Matthias Jaissle revealing that it will be at least four Newcastle United players missing at Fulham.

The NUFC Head Coach confirming a new injury issue for his Brazilian international: “Joelinton went out with an injury again, we need to make the final treatment plan for him and see how long he will be out.”

Joelinton had missed the end of last season and only returned to the starting eleven last month.

In better news, Matthias Jaissle making clear that two other players could now return potentially, although they are still unknowns for Saturday as the Head Coach keeps people guessing.

Matthias Jaissle: “Matias Fernandez-Pardo has had a heavy virus, he has been out for more than two weeks. He is progressing and training again with us, we will have to see how he is physically before Fulham. Lewis Miley is getting better and better, showed a good reaction, he is making progress how I expected and wished for.”

A media exclusive ahead of the press conference had reported that both MFP and Miley have been training fine and were expected to return to the matchday squad at Craven Cottage.

Matthias Jaissle not fully committing but I would be very surprised if this pair aren’t named in the 20 Newcastle United players involved on Saturday.
