Revealed how much of a pay cut Florian Thauvin agreed to escape Newcastle
News today from France of just how much of a pay cut Florian Thauvin agreed, to make his return to Marseille happen.
The winger agreeing a year’s initial loan, in a deal that will see the move become permanent once a certain number of games are played for the Ligue 1 club.
L’Equipe report that Florian Thauvin was on €300,000 (£260,000) a month at Newcastle but agreed to drop to €220,000 (£190,000) a month to seal the deal.
