Complete stats of Alan Pardew’s final two and a half years v rest of Premier League

The complete stats are just in on Alan Pardew’s final(!) two and half years at Newcastle United, compared to the other fourteen clubs who have shared the Premier League with United over all of the last three seasons.

Chris Holt updated the final figures late last night after Liverpool’s win over Swansea, to give the definitive story of the 31 months since Newcastle and Alan Pardew ended up fifth in the Premier League.

Pardew’s reign ends with a victory, 3-2 at St.James’ Park against Everton, though the more fitting image that will be left in most supporters’ thoughts, is the fourth consecutive derby surrender only nine days ago.

So how do the fourteen other clubs who have also played 95 Premier League fixtures over the 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons compare with Mike Ashley and Alan Pardew’s efforts?

Thanks to Chris Holt for the excellent stats below and you can visit his blog HERE, plus you can follow him on Twitter @MikeAshleyLies

(The eight categories are Games won, Games lost, Clean sheets, Failed to score, Goals for, Goals against, Goal difference, Points)

If anybody asks you why there are no tears lost over the departure of Alan Pardew, just point them towards these statistics.

Of course they are also a damning indictment on Mike Ashley’s plan for running Newcastle United; free advertising, minimal investment and maximum profits.

With the only ‘ambition’ being to keep United in the Premier League and the TV riches continuing to flow into the club, or rather, the owner’s pockets.

Goodbye Alan Pardew – you won’t be missed but sadly you aren’t leaving hand in hand with Mike Ashley.
