Later in the day the children watched a promotional DVD for Show Racism the Red Card. On the film footballers shared their experiences of racist problems they had in their life. It showed the youngsters what to do if they experience a racist attack.
At the end of the day the ‘journalists’ took part in a Q and A, where they asked a variety of questions. Richard Offiong (Ex Newcastle) quoted; “Experiencing racism was awful because people were making monkey chants. It wasn’t very pleasant.”
