A quite bizarre revelation has come out ahead of tomorrow’s match between Newcastle and Sunderland. It is reported that Sunderland’s owner, Ellis Short, abused Alan Pardew shortly before the derby match kicked off down at their place earlier this season.
Not only is there the disappointment of Sunderland getting rid of somebody who I intensely disliked, as was the case with Bruce and Keane, but also somebody who was only taking the mackems in one direction.
“We have to be seriously looking to strengthen our side. We have got a few injuries to people but you are going to get injuries and suspensions during the course of the season and it is up to us to cope with them”.
