Andre-Pierre Gignac’s agent has met officials of Galatasaray, with Newcastle just one of a host of clubs said to be waiting to see which club he chooses.

Newcastle strike target Joel Campbell has now had a loan figure put on his head for the coming season after Galatasaray enquired about the forward.

There are claims circulating today that Demba Ba has signed for Galatasaray. Sky Italia is the source for the story but no confirmation from either club or the player has been forthcoming as yet.
