You have to see this as a serious character flaw in our current team/squad, conceding one goal should not make it much more likely that you should concede quickly again. Going a goal down should see you rolling your sleeves up and trying extra hard to make sure you don’t allow the match to totally slip away.
As much as we all crave goals and it might not be sexy, but maybe the best medicine for Newcastle at the minute would be a few clean sheets to get a few points on the board and a bit of confidence into the squad.
