When it comes to the Newcastle United transfer policy this summer, what is wrong with the old fashioned buy now and pay (some) later?

Please, if you were there, can you tell me it actually did happen, because whenever I relay the story to my son and wife (for the millionth time) their eyes keep telling me I’m going in a home…

If you don’t have that money down the back of the couch, would you be prepared to ask for money instead of birthday and Christmas presents this year? (Other religious festivals are available, but you get my drift). That’s helping to secure a supporter stake in the club just by giving up your M&S undies and Old Spice…you know it makes sense.

Let’s spend the time when watching the lads by giving them support that can make a difference in every game, home and away. Some of our squad may not be up to the task, but as long as they wear that shirt, I for one will support them.

Honestly? No more crazy, off the cuff decisions? No more supporter uproar? Champion, just what we need

I don’t think they have the slightest idea of what goes on in our heads really and banging on about no more ‘trophy’ players just emphasises the point. In my opinion, most Newcastle supporters’ ‘trophy’ players would include the likes of David Kelly, John Anderson and dare I say it Perchino? Committed to the club, region and supporters and never put less than a full shift in on the pitch.
