Nottingham Forest fans react to playing Newcastle United first match

Nottingham Forest fans are back watching their team in the top tier, with a play-off success at Wembley ending an absence of more than two decades.

Along with supporters of every other Premier League club, Nottingham Forest fans keen to see the release of fixtures on Thursday morning.

The 9am announcement revealing Newcastle United (see the NUFC 2022/23 Premier League fixtures HERE) away first up for the newly promoted club.

Whilst the release of the live TV choices for UK broadcast (see HERE) have perhaps surprisingly seen Newcastle United v Nottingham Forest as NOT one of the five choices.

So as things stand, it appears the match remains at 3pm Saturday 6 August to kick off the season at St James Park.
