The results of the Newcastle v Arsenal player ratings by fans.

Always interested to see what supporters have collectively made of the latest performance, when using our interactive ratings system. Each player marked out of 10 and the averages below.

So, what about the individuals who played in this game where Newcastle United dominated throughout and could / should have won by more.

Picking up yet another Man of The Match award, Bruno Guimaraes (9.2) with yet another stunning all round performance, topped off by scoring the second goal that made sure of the three points.

Only a fraction behind, Callum Wilson (9.1) making a superb return to the starting eleven.

Looking very lively and so unlucky not to score a couple of wonder goals. One of them after the ball was chipped into the box and he hit a volley over the bar, then an outstanding effort from some 45 or more yards out, successfully eluding Ramsdale but just a fraction wide of the post.

You then have another six players rated 8.0 or better by the fans, reflecting just how well the whole team did.

Joelinton (8.8) third highest rated by fans, an excellent all round display that perfectly complemented Bruno G.

Matt Targett (8.4) outstanding once more, Saka and others got so little out of him.

Same in the centre of defence with Dan Burn (8.2), once more the heart of that defence but also having the ability to play when in possession.

Emil Krafth (8.1) has had a tough time against Liverpool and Man City the past couple of weeks but this time he was pretty faultless defensively. Offers very little going forward but there aren’t many Kieran Trippiers around.

Miguel Almiron and Sean Longstaff both scored 8.0 from fans and well deserved it. These tactics of playing high up the pitch and pressurising the opposition, is exactly what suits them, both have great engines and ran all night. Confidence grew on the ball for the pair as well as the game progressed.

Three players dropped below that 8.0 mark and to be honest I thought it was a night when all eleven starters deserved that rating as a minimum.

Fabian Schar (7.8) playing his full part until injury forced him off, whilst ASM (7.7) had his best game for some time – making far better decisions when in possession, when to pass and when to dribble. Martin Dubravka (7.6) didn’t have loads to do but did it all well, another clean sheet for the collection under Eddie Howe.

Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 7.30pm Wednesday:
