The final score was Gulf United 0 Newcastle United 5.

Eddie Howe and his players rounding off their warm weather trip to Dubai with an enjoyable stroll in the sun.

Gulf United appointed Steven Taylor as their new manager (see below) in January and he watched on from the sidelines as his old club scored their five goals without reply.

The match played behind closed doors at the NAS Sports Complex and sensible precautions taken against injury and the heat, as United and the home side played three periods of twenty minutes each.

Newcastle United fan site nufc.com reporting the match info, saying that Joelinton scored for Newcastle United, along with Allan Saint-Maximin and Dwight Gayle getting two goals each.

Great to see ASM hopefully now back on his way to full fitness as Newcastle face a busy April with six Premier League matches in four weeks.
