The Newcastle team v Leicester has just been confirmed.

Newcastle kicking off their match at the King Power Stadium at 2pm.

Eddie Howe attempting to guide Newcastle United to their first away win of the season and follow up that St James Park victory over Burnley eight days ago.

Results have very much gone Newcastle’s way so far this weekend and a massive boost if Eddie Howe can deliver what would be a fourth victory in the last five visits to Leicester for a Premier League match.

In the build up to the game, Brendan Rodgers indicated that the home club would be missing at least ten first team squad members.

In contrast, Eddie Howe is expecting to have a pretty much full squad to choose from.

Ahead of the game, the NUFC Head Coach stated on Friday that Paul Dummett was the only senior player definitely ruled out. Howe adding that Fabian Schar had missed some training early in the week due to sore ribs but he expected him to be fine for today.

Ciaran Clark available once again after his one match suspension, following the red card against Norwich.

The confirmed Newcastle team v Leicester:

Newcastle United:

Dubravka, Manquillo, Schar, Lascelles, Lewis, Shelvey, Willock, Almiron, Joelinton, Saint-Maximin, Wilson

So no changes at all to the team that beat Burnley.

Darlow, Ritchie, Hayden, Hendrick, Krafth, Fernandez, Murphy, Fraser, Gayle

Only one change on the bench, Ryan Fraser missed the Burnley match with a hamstring issue but replaces Longstaff amongst the subs today.
