‘Why not bring in a new interim Newcastle United manager to lift moral?’

Why can’t we look at another interim Newcastle United manager in the short term?

Our short term options of the Steves and Graeme Jones are simply not good enough.

In fact they are shocking and as bad a team as anyone could possibly think of putting together.

Anybody is a better option than this lot.

Surely there are many better short term options than what we have right now?

Top of the list is Chris Hughton for me. He’s loved and well thought of here on Tyneside.

He isn’t the only option though.

How about Guus Hiddink, Keegan and Shearer, what about Lee Clark? Ketsbia has done ok in management.

I’m not saying any of these lot are the long term answer, I’m just saying we need to try something different to what we have right now because we couldn’t possibly do any worse than what we have at present.

It looks to me like we are not getting an elite manger straight in, my choice for a middle of the road manager has got to be Graham Potter ahead of Martinez, Howe and Lampard etc.

There are still options like Pellegrini or Marco Silva who did ok until his Everton stint. Some of these people are not the best we can hope for, but they are all better than what we currently have short term, no doubt about it.

Even if we aren’t looking to bring in a short term / interim Newcastle United manager, why not try to bring in some help?

Someone with enthusiasm to lift the players. Tino or people like him with his infectious smile can lift the dressing room short term, characters with an affinity to the club?

We just need to change what we have now, or risk losing our Premier League status.

There aren’t many, if any, clubs in the Premier League, or Championship even, that would allow this lot to guide their clubs. So why are we?
