Steve Bruce massive shift in odds to be next Premier League boss to leave – After Newcastle takeover news

Steve Bruce is back in the spotlight.

Wednesday having brought the dramatic news that Mike Ashley is on the verge of finally selling Newcastle United after over 14 years of ownership.

Moves by Saudi Arabia to settle their differences with beIN Sports, also apparently proving to be the magic key that finally opens up the chance to finalise the Newcastle United takeover saga.

Now it becomes a case of how quickly this takeover is concluded, with widespread media reports suggesting that this could be as early as today (Thursday 7 October 2021).

Then we will see which Mike Ashley minions will swiftly follow the outgoing owner through the exit door.

At the weekend, Watford sacked Xisco Munoz only days after the shame of failing to beat Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United, despite Munoz having promoted the Hornets in May and having had them sitting mid-table on seven points from seven games.

All of this whilst Steve Bruce was congratulating himself on having overseen yet another brilliant but unlucky losing performance at Wolves, that leaves Newcastle second bottom of the Premier League without a win, as well as out of the League Cup after he made nine outfield changes at home to Burnley.

On Tuesday (5 October) after Ranieri replaced Munoz, the new Premier League sack race odds were announced, with Steve Bruce  the new favourite to leave his job next.

The NUFC Head Coach the 4/1 favourite, just ahead of Norwich’s Daniel Farke on 5/1.

However, after Wednesday’s Saudi news and this reportedly imminent NUFC takeover, there has been a massive shift in the betting odds, Steve Bruce moving from 4/1 favourite to now massive odds on 1/2 to be the next Premier League boss to go.

Premier League sack race odds from BetVictor, next PL manager to go (the odds that were available on Tuesday 5 October in brackets):

Steve Bruce: 1/2 (4/1)

Nuno Espirito Santo: 10/1 (6/1)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: 10/1 (6/1)

Daniel Farke: 12/1 (5/1)

Claudio Ranieri: 14/1 (8/1)

Ralph Hasenhuttl: 20/1 (10/1)

Bruno Lage: 20/1 (10/1)

Mikel Arteta: 20/1 (16/1)

Lets get this Newcastle United takeover done and as well as Mike Ashley, wave goodbye to the likes of Steve Bruce and Lee Charnley ASAP!
