The results of the Newcastle v Wolves player ratings by fans.

Always interested to see what supporters have collectively made of the latest performance, when using our interactive ratings system.

Each player marked out of 10 and the averages below.

Another Premier League home match and another black and white man of the match performance for Allan Saint-Maximin (5.6).

Was yet again asked by Steve Bruce to pretty much do it all himself, in terms of being a threat to Wolves. ASM no doubt surprised when a chance was created for him by others, a ball from the left ended up at his feet after a scramble and he should have scored from six yards out but a brilliant reflex save by the home keeper.

Otherwise, pretty much any positive came from ASM, it was he that slipped the ball in behind the Wolves defence that saw Joelinton collide with the keeper and after a comedy of errors from home players, led to Hendrick shooting towards the empty net and scoring.

Only one other Newcastle player was rated 4.0 or better by NUFC fans, Javier Manquillo (4.1) putting in his usual committed performance at right-back.

As for those at the very bottom of the fan ratings, Karl Darlow (2.7) made a feeble effort to stop the first goal and possibly could have done better with the second as well, both scored from tight angles.

Darlow was left badly exposed and Newcastle’s trio of 32 year old defenders are maybe feeling the pace (they certainly lack it!), with ratings of Ciaran Clark (3.1), Federico Fernandez (3.2) and Matt Ritchie (3.4).

Joe Willock (3.3) contributing nothing before forced off in the first half, whilst Joelinton (3.3) was his usual zero threat to the opposition.

Miguel Almiron (3.4) as usual badly undermined by Steve Bruce playing him as an extra defender, whilst Longstaff (3.6) and Hayden (3.6) were a poor second best in the middle of the pitch.

Jeff Hendrick (3.4) may have got the goal but in his 54 minutes off the bench he was otherwise his usual really poor self.

Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 7.30am Monday:
