Newcastle United transfer moves for targets under new owners – Reality check
We all look forward to the Newcastle United transfer moves that lie ahead.
With Mike Ashley now history and ambitious new owners aiming for success on the pitch, that equals bringing in better players.
It is difficult getting your head around the changes at NUFC, especially when you look at the summer transfer window and not even free transfers or loan deals allowed, over and above the signing of Joe Willock.
However…I have found it very strange when studying the media in recent days.
The reporting on Newcastle United transfer moves for targets under the new owners…
Here are a range of headlines only from a short period today (Tuesday 12 October 2021):

Honestly, it is absolutely pathetic.
Yes, we can all speculate about what signings could potentially be possible in the transfer windows ahead.
However, so many operating in today’s media, have no limits on how low they will sink, as they desperately try to get the clicks.
These headlines above are all indicating that there are actual transfer moves / talks for new Newcastle signings actually taking place NOW!
I’m sorry, but the new owners only the keys to St James Park on Thursday, after clearly very little advance notice that it was going to be able to happen.
There is no new manager appointed, there is no Director of Football appointed, there is still almost three months to go until the next transfer window even opens, yet only a handful of days into the new ownership, we are supposed to believe these truly desperate clickbait transfer claims of Newcastle United already trying to complete the signings of new players.
The new ownership will be doing things properly and only once they have their manager in place, will he then be the lead person in terms of identifying potential signings that he wants. Plus, as I say, why would new signings be top of the initial list of jobs to do, when it is three months until new players can be brought in?
