The Newcastle United Premier League squad for the opening months of the 2021/22 season has been revealed.

A Newcastle United official announcement on Thursday confirming the 25 man senior squad.

No surprises as with Mike Ashley refusing to allow even any loan signings in the closing weeks of the transfer window, it meant Newcastle ended up with only 25 players to choose from…and that means needing to name four goalkeepers to fill all 25 places.

Under 21 players such as Elliot Anderson are additional to the 25 man senior Premier League squad named below.

Newcastle United Official Announcement:

‘Newcastle United have named their 25-man squad for the first half of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

The international and domestic transfer windows have now closed, meaning all Premier League clubs had to submit their final squads to the league on Thursday.

With Martin Dúbravka currently injured and Karl Darlow yet to play this season after suffering from Covid-19, Steve Bruce has named four goalkeepers in the squad.

Homegrown players under the age of 21 – including Elliot Anderson – do not need to be named in the 25-man squad.

Clubs can resubmit their 25-man squads in January.

Newcastle United’s 25-man squad for the first half of the season is:
