Cristiano Ronaldo v Steve Bruce tickets now on sale for £2500

It’s the big one, Manchester United fans welcoming back two heroes to the club.

Steve Bruce and Cristiano Ronaldo, with all tickets swiftly bought up for this clash.

However, it has now been revealed that tickets can still be bought from resale sites, with Manchester United fans been charged as much as £2,514 for a ticket.

A hefty price but they will get to see arguably the greatest football player the World has ever seen, up against the greatest ever footballing experience (according to Steve Bruce…).

The Times have ran the story after finding out that Stubhub are selling tickets for £2,514 each, whilst if you get in quick, you might get one of those on sale at Live Football Tickets, who have them priced at ‘only’ £250 to £699. A bargain.

It is set to be a Ronaldo playing return for Manchester United twelve years after he walked out on the Old Trafford club to join Real Madrid.

However, for Manchester United fans it is less than two years ago when they last had the pleasure of seeing the managerial talents of Steve Bruce on display, as he and his NUFC team rolled over for a 4-1 defeat to his old club, at Old Trafford. Last season it was 3-1 to the Mancs but the game played behind closed doors.

Manchester United have commented on the resale of tickets:

“We strongly discourage fans from purchasing tickets from unauthorised sources.

“These tickets are often invalid, leaving fans out of pocket, disappointed and unable to see the game.”

As for Newcastle United fans, they will be wondering about the unlikely possibility of getting even their thirty quids’ worth out of their face value tickets…
