The Manchester United v Newcastle United tickets are now on sale.
In an official announcement (see below) on Monday morning, the club putting out details for this rare 3pm Saturday kick-off at Old Trafford.
This game pretty much always chosen for live coverage and moved but TV chiefs reacting to the abysmal negative football put out by Steve Bruce over most of these past 25 months, only three of Newcastle’s opening 10 PL games chosen for live UK broadcast.
Happily for travelling NUFC fans, not a single away game in August, September and October has been chosen for TV and moved.
In the first instance, season ticket holders with 50 away points or more can buy them.

‘Tickets for Newcastle United’s Premier League trip to Manchester United are on sale now.
Steve Bruce takes his Magpies side to Old Trafford for a 3pm (BST) kick-off on Saturday, 11th September and seats are now available to season ticket holders with 50 away points and above.
16-17 and over-64: £15
A limited number of Ambulant Disabled tickets and wheelchair spaces are available, each coming with a complimentary carer ticket.
Ticket checks will be in operation on the day so it is imperative at the point of purchase that the correct age band is purchased, as any upgrades are generally not permitted on the day and you could be refused entry at the turnstiles.

Manchester United’s stadium safety team advise that there is a Public Spaces Protection Order in place in the Borough of Trafford that prevents members of the public from consuming alcohol, on the roads and within other public spaces, in the vicinity of the stadium.
The throwing of missiles and attempted/actual pitch encroachment will not be tolerated.
