After 17 months wait, Newcastle United fans can now buy away tickets today – Aston Villa

There is nothing better than an away trip for many Newcastle United fans.

Now on Monday morning they have been able to buy tickets for an away Premier League match for the first time in 17 months.

The last NUFC away following at a competitive match was on the south coast at Southampton, Allan Saint-Maximin scoring the only goal of the game against a Saints team reduced to 10 men.

Today though, Newcastle United fans (if season ticket holders with 50+ points) have been given the chance to buy tickets for the Aston Villa match, which is now only 12 days away (Saturday 21 August 3pm).

Another sign hopefully of some kind of ‘normality’ returning to our lives.

Newcastle United official announcement:

‘Tickets for Newcastle United’s first Premier League away game of the 2021/22 season are now on sale.

The Magpies travel to Aston Villa on Saturday, 21st August for a 3pm (BST) kick-off, and seats went on sale to current season ticket holders with 50 and above away points at 10am on Monday.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it will be the first time that the Toon Army have been able to follow United at a competitive away match since the 1-0 win at Southampton back in March 2020.

Prices for the game are:

Adults: £30

Full-time students/Armed Forces: £28

Over-65s: £24

Under-21s: £19

Under 18s: £11

Tickets can be bought online at book.nufc.co.uk or by calling 0344 372 1892.’
