Newcastle United fans are protesting in the capital today.

The protest beginning at 1pm in Parliament Square – London.

Newcastle United fans travelling by coach from Tyneside, joining up with supporters based in the south.

The fans looking to make their voices heard regarding the Premier League refusal to allow transparency with the NUFC arbitration process to try and help get through a Newcastle United takeover.

The protest has been coordinated by Twitter group NUFCTransparencyProtest and the sun has been shining brightly in Parliament Square.

As you can see here in this video footage and photos posted on Twitter by The Magpie Group who are supporting the initiative:

Ahead of the day of protest, the Newcastle United fans behind the organisation of today’s action told the Chronicle:

“We are the NUFC Transparency Protest group which is made up of many Newcastle United fans who have organised a protest to attract media attention and get some recognition from influential figures to put pressure onto the EPL so that our club’s arbitration is made public knowledge.

“As a fanbase, we demand answers and deserve to know what’s happening in regards to the future of our club.

“We want to get as many different Newcastle fans / fan groups involved as possible.

“There is strength in numbers and we must unite on this.”
