Elias Sorensen – Esbjerg FB release official statement after signing Newcastle United striker
Elias Sorensen has now left Newcastle United.
Esbjerg FB releasing an official statement confirming that the NUFC striker has returned to his native Denmark.
Elias Sorensen looked as though he could be a player that might progress through to the first team when scoring 16 goals in 21 starts for the NUFC reserve team early in the 2018/19 season. However, from going out on loan to Blackpool for the second half of that season, his progress has pretty much stalled.
Esbjerg play in the second tier of football in Denmark and hopefully this can prove the right place for the now 21 year old to get back on track.
