4 Newcastle United players in Monday internationals – 13 hour shift to watch them all
It is looking set to be a busy Monday for Newcastle United players and their countries.
Altogether, as many as four international matches could involve NUFC representation.
Starting with Ryan Fraser and Scotland early on Monday afternoon in Euro 2020, right through to Miguel Almiron and Paraguay in Copa America action at 9pm in Brazil – but the early hours of Tuesday in UK time.
This is how the four Newcastle United players are set to line up today on live TV:
Scotland v Czech Republic (Ryan Fraser) – BBC One at 2pm
Slovakia v Poland (Martin Dubravka) – ITV at 5pm
Sweden v Spain (Emil Krafth) – BBC One at 8pm
Paraguay v Bolivia (Miguel Almiron) 9pm in Brazil but 1am (Tuesday) in UK time, shown live via BBC i-player
Fabian Schar was in action on Saturday afternoon, kicking it off for Newcastle United players and involvement in Euro 2020.
The Swiss by far the better team against Wales and Fabian Schar almost gave them the lead on 19 minutes with a very cute flick off his right heel from a corner, the keeper doing well to save.
However, after Embolo gave Switzerland the lead on 49 minutes, it was Schar who then with 17 minutes to go, losing his man and Kieffer Moore heading home. The game ending 1-1.
Good luck to all four Newcastle United players today and hopefully they will all be involved.
