We asked fans the question, which 11 players would you pick in your Newcastle team v Manchester City?

We put together a list of the 21 players who looked as though they could potentially be selected for this game.

Newcastle looking to improve on a record of only five wins in their last twenty six matches (all competitions), with only two wins in the last eleven Premier League games at St James Park.

Ahead of Friday’s match, Steve Bruce gave an update on the injury and fitness front.

The Head Coach revealing that seven Newcastle players miss this Manchester City game.

Fabian Schar will miss out in his second of the three matches he is banned for, only able to play against Fulham in the very final game.

Elliot Anderson has a hip injury and is set to miss the rest of the season.

Whilst Karl Darlow, Ryan Fraser, Isaac Hayden and Jamaal Lascelles are all still ruled out with ongoing injury / fitness issues.

Making it up to the seven mark, Steve Bruce says that Callum Wilson actually isn’t too bad as hamstring injuries usually go, just out for two or three weeks. However, that coinciding with the last couple of weeks of the season.
