Newcastle 3 Manchester City 4 – Watch all 7 goals here in official match highlights
It ended Newcastle 3 Manchester City 4.
United leading then trailing, then leading again, only to swiftly fall behind once again…
This maybe wasn’t one to be included in the manual of great defending but in terms of a spectacle to watch it was a veritable feast.
Plenty of incident and of course seven goals, one of them from Torres surely goal of the season?
Newcastle worked hard for and arguably deserved their three goals, the first time since 2019 that Manchester City had conceded more than two in a Premier League game.
As for Newcastle United, it was only the eighth time in Steve Bruce’s 74 Premier League games where NUFC had scored three or more, winning all the previous seven games.
With Newcastle safe though heading into this game, sit back and enjoy all seven goals once again.
No points but plenty of entertainment…and it hasn’t been very often we have been able to say we’ve experienced the latter this season.
