Newcastle United have one contender for Premier League goal of the decade.

Sky Sports putting together a list of 40 different goals for football fans to vote from.

What would you have included from NUFC this past decade?

Sky Sports describing it:

‘The 2010s have had their fair share of screamers. From the solo runs to the sweetly struck volleys, watch our top 40 and pick your best..

We’ve argued, debated and reminisced to get the thousands scored since 2010 down to a shortlist of our top 40.’

For starters, I can think of a few from Hatem Ben Arfa that could/should have been included.

However, the only Newcastle United one to make the Sky Sports nominations is from 2 May 2012, THAT Papiss Cisse (second) goal as NUFC won 2-0 away at Chelsea.

There are two that were scored against Newcastle that have also made the list.

Luis Suarez scoring for Liverpool against Newcastle in a 1-1 draw at Anfield on 4 November 2012.

Jermain Defoe scoring for the Mackems on 5 April 2015 down on Wearside.

There are also two goals scored by current Newcastle players when at previous clubs.

Matt Ritchie for Bournemouth v Sunderland on 19 September 2015.

Andy Carroll for West Ham v Crystal Palace on 14 January 2017.
