Injury time Premier League drama boosts Newcastle United
An eventful day in the Premier League on Saturday.

Monday night’s televised match at Aston Villa meaning a very long 16 days between fixtures for NUFC.

Things were looking to be tightened up significantly at the very bottom with two of the bottom three winning.
Norwich 2-0 victors at Everton and Southampton winning 2-1 at Arsenal, only for the Saints to miss several late chances and then concede in the 96th minute.

So even if Newcastle lose on Monday, they will be still five points clear of the relegation zone and can’t drop any places.
Whilst a win at Villa Park would guarantee Newcastle moving into ninth place and eight points clear of the bottom three.
