Confirmed Newcastle team v West Ham – Hayden Almiron, Shelvey all start

The Newcastle team v West Ham has just been confirmed.

Newcastle kicking off their eleventh Premier League match of the season on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.

Steve Bruce hoping to improve on 1 win in the last 8 games (all competitions).

Ahead of the match, the Newcastle United head coach said that as well as the suspended Sean Longstaff, three other players definitely missed due to injury.

Long-term injured Florian Lejeune and Matt Ritchie, plus Fabian Schar.

Two changes with an all new central midfield.

The suspended Sean Longstaff and Matty Longstaff dropped to the bench, Steve Bruce bringing in Shelvey and Hayden.

Carroll is fit enough for the bench and replaces Muto.
