Steve Bruce obviously needing to find goals from somewhere.

If Newcastle fail to score on Sunday, it will be the least goals in the first 10 league games of any season in NUFC’s entire history.

Steve Bruce talking about facing Wolves and updating on four injured players.

The NUFC head coach also welcoming Dubravka’s new contract and talking about ongoing  contract talks with the Longstaff brothers.

On Martin Dúbravka’s new contract:

““He’s a very, very good goalkeeper.

“We’ve unearthed on because not a lot of people had heard of him…

“We’re delighted that he’s tied himself to the club.”

Sean and Matty Longstaff contract talks:

“These things don’t take one day any more…

“I’m quietly confident we’ll get there.

“They’re two young lads with a big future.”

Joelinton:

“He’s only young, he only turned 23 two months ago.

“He needs time to settle… It takes a little bit of time to adjust.

Joe will be a fine player for this club.

“I’m absolutely convinced of that.”

Injuries/Fitness:

“The good news is that Flo (Lejeune) is close to a return and so is Matt Ritchie as well.

“He’s been bouncing around the training ground all week.

“They (Carroll and Schar injuries) are not serious at all.

“Andy picked up a groin strain last Saturday and Fab has a bit of a sore knee that he’s been playing with for a few weeks.

They’ll not be fit for Sunday.”

On Wolves:

“The one thing they have got is good players, who play in a certain system and do it very well.

“They’re a threat – they’re a good side.

“We’re at home against a very decent Wolves side but we’re capable – we know that – and we’ll have to be at our best to win.”
