Newcastle United 1 Manchester United 0 – Watch the official match highlights here

It ended Newcastle United 1 Manchester United 0 on Sunday.

Newcastle having the same (31%) level of possession as against Leicester but a slightly different result.

Two Uniteds in desperate straits but only one deserved to win this one, if anybody.

Matty Longstaff came closest before the break, his 25 yard volley beating De Gea but not the bar.

However, a spirited performance from the home side was rewarded on 72 minutes.

An energetic run forward by Miguel Almiron.

Jetro Willems holding off the defender and laying the ball off.

Then Matty Longstaff with the perfect finish from 25 yards.

David De Gea given no chance.

What Sundays were made for.

Watch the official highlights here to see for yourself how it all played out….
