I’m still hoping NUFC make me regret giving up my season ticket…Newcastle 1 Wolves 1

The Man U game made me wonder but this Newcastle 1 Wolves 1 game just served to justify my decision.

The front three didn’t click. Again.

The midfield didn’t create enough. Again.

And there was no sign of a plan. Again.

The Longstaff red card looked borderline but I don’t think we’d have done better if he’d stayed on.

From my vantage point in front of the TV, it sounded like the Wolves fans were making more noise than ours, and that tells a story.

If Wolves had scored a couple more it wouldn’t have surprised me.

They probably should have had a penalty too but VAR did us a favour.

My problem with this Newcastle team is that I like the players but they can’t play together.

Dubravka will get the blame for their goal but we wouldn’t do any better without him.

Joelinton looks a lot worse than Joselu on current form but he is the biggest victim of our lack of a plan.

You could put Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski up front for us and we still wouldn’t know what to do with them.

At best this was a battling point and I see a season of battling points.

But I really worry that they won’t keep us up.
