Newcastle United players on international duty – Full schedule

Not too many Newcastle United players on international duty this time.

A number of injuries in the NUFC squad meaning Steve Bruce will be relieved there aren’t too many playing for their countries, with extra travelling and training, as well as risk of injury.

Five players in total, although that does include three key players in the Premier League.

Newcastle’s best two players – Martin Dubravka and Fabian Schar, as well as Miguel Almiron.

With the Emil Krafth and NUFC Under 23s midfielder Mo Sangare making up the quintet.

The final game of the nine matches detailed below is Miguel Almiron playing on Tuesday for Paraguay against Jordan, so there should be no issues regarding players being late back in advance of Newcastle’s next game against Liverpool on the Saturday (14 September).
