Newcastle United official statement confirms deadline day move for Rolando Aarons
Rolando Aarons is on the move.
An official Newcastle United statement confirming that he has gone out on loan once again.
The NUFC winger joining Wycombe Wanderers, until January initially.
They are currently fifth in League One, a lower level than when Rolando Aarons went to Championship Sheffield Wednesday earlier this year.
Time was pressing as today is the final chance for moves to the likes of Scotland, English Leagues One and Two, as well as most major European Leagues.
The likes of Henri Saivet, Jami Sterry, Achraf Lazaar and Jack Colback are in the same position, needing moves if they are going to play any first team football in the first half of this season.
Newcastle United Official Announcement:
‘Rolando Aarons has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan until January.
The 23-year-old winger was heavily involved for the Magpies in pre-season but Steve Bruce was unable to find room to include him in his 25-man squad for the Premier League campaign so he has now linked up with the Chairboys – currently fifth in League One – for the first half of the season.
The former England under-20 international, who has made 27 appearances and scored four goals for the Magpies since making his debut against Manchester City in August 2014, had loan spells with Slovan Liberec in the Czech Republic and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last season, having spent time with Hellas Verona in Serie A in 2017/18.
He could make his Wycombe bow against second-placed Lincoln City on Saturday.’
