Newcastle United drop to second bottom of Premier League before Leicester game
Thanks to results on Saturday, Newcastle United have dropped to second bottom before they play Leicester City.
Aston Villa climbed above Newcastle on goal difference thanks to a 2-2 draw against Burnley, though it could have been worse as Villa led twice.
Wolves have gone two points clear of Steve Bruce’s NUFC and climbed out of the drop zone, a goal in each half beat Watford, Daryl Janmaat scoring an own goal to make it 2-0 to Wolves.
Watford are now the only team below Newcastle, the Hornets on two points and the Magpies with four.
