Don’t want to worry anybody but it is Liverpool WWWWWWWWWWWWW

Newcastle United face a ‘tricky’ visit to Liverpool on Saturday.

Looking at the stats you have to give massive credit to Jurgen Klopp for the job he has done there.

Only one defeat for Liverpool in their last 43 Premier League games, a 2-1 away defeat at Manchester City on 3 January 2018.

Over 16 months with only one league defeat.

As well as the small matter of winning the Champions League, they have won their last 13 Premier League matches.

A record showing:

Played 13 Won 13 Drawn 0 Lost 0 Goals For Goals 37 Against 10

10 March 2019 Liverpool 4 Burnley 2

17 March 2019 Fulham 1 Liverpool 2

31 March 2019 Liverpool 2 Tottenham 1

5 April 2019 Southampton 1 Liverpool 3

14 April 2019 Liverpool 2 Chelsea 0

21 April 2019 Cardiff 0 Liverpool 2

26 April 2019 Liverpool 5 Huddersfield 0

4 May 2019 Newcastle United 2 Liverpool 3

12 May 2019 Liverpool 2 Wolves 0

9 AugustĀ  2019 Liverpool 4 Norwich 1

17 August 2019 Southampton 1 Liverpool 2

24 August 2019 Liverpool 3 Arsenal 1

31 August 2019 Burnley 0 Liverpool 3

Looking for any positives/weaknesses, I suppose you can say that in three of their four Premier League matches this season, the scousers have conceded. However, on the other hand they are averaging scoring three goals per game.

In fact it was Newcastle United back in May who came closest to breaking this PL winning run, Rafa’s team very unlikely not to get anything in that cracker of a game.

Liverpool are looking real competitors to Man City this time, fair play to Steve Bruce and his players if they come away with anything on Saturday.
