The Liverpool team v Newcastle has just been confirmed.

Liverpool looking to make it 14 Premier League wins in a row.

Against today’s opponents, Liverpool have only lost twice in the league in 46 games since 1950.

Jurgen Klopp failed to win in his first three games (home and away) against Newcastle but that luck changed and the last three have been wins, including that dramatic 3-2 victory at St James Park in May.

The scorer of the winner in that game, Origi, is one of two changes Jurgen Klopp makes from the team that beat Burnley 3-0 before the international break.

Firmino and Henderson drop down to the bench, with Oxlade-Chamberlain and Origi starting.

The confirmed Liverpool team v Newcastle:

Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sane, Salah, Origi

Subs:

Kelleher, Milner, Shaqiri, Gomez, Henderson, Lallana, Firmino

Whilst for Steve Bruce, he had Gayle, Carroll, Sean Longstaff, Lejeune, ASM, Ritchie and Yedlin all ruled out by injury.
