Two games in and ‘United’ is the key word

Even though this is another disheartening/disastrous performance from Newcastle United against Norwich.

Following the moderate performance in the opening game (vs Arsenal) from the men that play in the shirt that we would all die for/ be proud to wear week in and week out.

We the TOON ARMY must stick together and stay United for our club.

Stand by the 11 players on the pitch, even when performances are unconvincing, lacklustre and lack effort.

We care for the badge that we all wear on our chests and we need to continue the fight, show the passion that makes us the most loyal supports in the country, if not the world.

We must express ourselves from the stands when the team isn’t cutting open defences and scoring goals or making the tackles to stop the opponents scoring,

But we must sing our hearts out and applaud that attempted through ball, or that half chance, that strong tackle of intent, with just as much expression.

A United front is what is needed in tough situations.

Two games in and we are here again, we have found ourselves in these tough situations too many times since the end of the Sir Bobby era.

Forget our civil war with the current custodian of our club, the mangers that have come and gone for whatever reason, or the players that saw us as a stepping stone.

Newcastle United and the Toon Army live on.

We have to win together and lose together.

We are the beating heart of this football club, we have to stay strong and get behind the team whatever the result.
