These diabolical Newcastle United excuses already flowing
Well, Newcastle United are two games into the new season.
The excuses already starting to show themselves yet again.
Let me demonstrate with this growing list, though I’m guessing you will be able to add plenty of your own…
Rafa wanted salary increase after saving NUFC (Basically he was sacked) – excuse
Joelinton could not be signed as Rafa had final word on all signings – excuse
No agreement could be reached with Rafa (No real efforts made) – excuse
No preparations made for new manager because Rafa did not sign – excuse
Time lost as initial approaches to other managers all rejected – excuse
Steve Bruce way down the wanted list and signed late, not NUFC fault – excuse
No time in close season for recruitment due to Rafa situation – excuse
Panic to buy players – not 1st or even 2nd choice targets, not NUFC fault – excuse
Steve Bruce – not enough time to sort out pre-season planning – excuse
Players need time to adapt to new systems, learn new tactics – excuse
Against Arsenal substitutes did not follow / understand changes – excuse
Lascelles as captain went walkabout for Arsenal goal but not his fault – excuse
Against Norwich team did not turn up – off day (After full week’s preparation) – excuse
Manager and coaches need more time (These are professionals?) – excuse
Substitutes and systems need more time to work into shape – excuse
We have not ‘hit the ground running’ and players need more time – excuse
Players are still getting to grips with changes (Professionals or what?) – excuse
Game stats do not reflect progress made (Are you kidding us, what progress???) – excuse
Manager and squad need more time, it is early days, we’re moving forward –excuse
Well it goes on and on.
The excuses are embarrassingly diabolical.
Trotting out the same pathetic football losers jargon, we will all turn up ready for the next game blah blah blah.
Let’s be honest, NUFC retaining their Premier League status? No chance.
We the supporters have more chance winning a soot juggling contest than this bunch have of making a fist of a football match.
Where do we go now?
