Must watch Newcastle United v Tottenham – 17 passes…45 seconds…Goal!
It ended Tottenham 0 Newcastle 1.
A brilliant Sunday for the travelling fans in the sunshine.
Bringing back memories of the last trip to the capital, different times and different manager/head coach.
Is it really only three months ago when Rafa’s Mags hammered Fulham 4-0 at Craven Cottage?
As for Sunday, it was another clean sheet in London but against superior opposition, though when it came to creativity and shooting Spurs were really poor.
That was thanks largely to a solid orange line, Newcastle’s defence holding up well against 80% possession Tottenham.
As for the winning goal, a great finish by Joelinton.
However, I think we have been sold well short when it comes to the likes of Match of The Day 2 and others showing it.
Here it is in its full glory, Newcastle’s players knocking it around the pitch.
Not a single Spurs player touched it – 45 seconds and 17 passes, before Joelinton guides it expertly into the bottom corner.
Great team goal from Newcastle ?
