Matt Le Tissier predicts where Newcastle United will finish in Premier League this season
Matt le Tissier has been analysing the upcoming Premier League season.
The former Southampton and England player looking at the strengths of each team after the transfer window ended yesterday.
Matt le Tissier then producing a predicted final 2019/20 Premier League table.
At the top he has gone for a predictable Man City and Liverpool top two.
However, more interesting for Newcastle fans looking further down the table.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that the three promoted clubs will end up in the bottom four, with Aston Villa just surviving in 17th.
Explaining his choice of who will go down with Norwich and Sheffield United, Matt le Tissier told Sky Sports:
“I don’t think Sean Dyche’s side have strengthened as much as some of the teams around them.
“Newcastle should have enough to keep clear of the relegation battle but Brighton and Aston Villa will be in the mix.”
He has Burnley in 18th place to go down, whilst as for Newcastle United, he has the Magpies in a relatively comfortable 15th.

As you can see, football fans in general see Newcastle finishing 13th and it being Crystal Palace joining Sheffield United and Norwich in the Championship.
