‘I have become utterly sick and tired of your negativity’
I have supported Newcastle since I watched my first ever match back at the start of the seventies.
It was against Don Revie’s Leeds United during their heyday.
I was also one of those who ran onto the St James Park pitch 48 years ago after Malcolm Macdonald, on his debut, put us ahead against Liverpool in a match where Kevin Keegan also starred.
Newcastle United winning 3-2 with a Supermac hat-trick.
My football blood runs black and white. Period.
However, I have become utterly sick and tired of your negativity now pervading The Mag and many of its commentators (in the comments section).
Yes, Rafa Benitez was good news as seen from the outside.
Yes, Mike Ashley is bad news as seen from the outside.
But, equally, Steve Bruce is a good man and passionate about Newcastle United.
He needs our support.
The players need our support.
Negativity begets negativity.
Let’s move on.
Show our triumph and support.
