We can officially declare the Newcastle United transfer window as now closed.

The 85 days of ‘excitement’ ending at 5pm on Thursday afternoon.

No more incoming transfers, although some Newcastle players could still leave.

The transfer windows in the likes of Germany, France and Spain still open until September, the same for Scotland and Leagues One and Two in England.

So, has it been a success or failure?

These are the ins and outs:

Leaving:

Mohamed Diame

Antonio Barreca

Salomon Rondon

Kenedy

Joselu

Ayoze Perez

Jacob Murphy (on loan)

Freddie Woodman (on loan)

Arriving:

Joelinton

Jetro Willems (on loan)

Allan Saint-Maximin

Emil Krafth

Andy Carroll

Leave aside the issue of manager/head coach.

Purely focus on this Newcastle United transfer window and the players who have left and those that have arrived.

Do you think the window has been a success or failure?

Five options to choose from below, interested to hear what you think.
