Andy Carroll posts cracking photo #OnePhotoOneFamily #MyStrength #Honoured
Andy Carroll returned to Newcastle United nine days ago.
The free agent released by West Ham, signing on 8 August.
After signing, the striker declared ‘I think this is the only place for me.’
Joining Liverpool back on deadline day in January 2011, Andy Carroll later moved on to West Ham.
Injuries, struggles for fitness and not a lot of goals (39 in the Premier League since leaving NUFC) have meant it has been a bit of a struggle: ‘When I left eight-and-a-half years ago, I was scoring goals and I was enjoying my football. It’s been a pretty tough time since then and I just want to get back to that.’
We are yet to see him on the pitch but today Andy Carroll has published this very nice photo at the side of the pitch on his own social media.
Hopefully he will actually get on the pitch sometime soon.
When Andy Carroll signed nine days ago:
“It feels very good.
“My friends and family are here and it’s the club that I support – it is home.
“I enjoyed the time I spent here and hopefully I can carry on where I left off.
“When I left eight-and-a-half years ago, I was scoring goals and I was enjoying my football.

“I know it’s home.
“I’ve played here, I’ve spoken to the fans – I am a fan – and my family is here.
“For me to get back to where I was, I think this is the only place for me.”
