2019 summer transfer window now closed – What each of the 20 Premier League clubs have spent
The summer 2019 transfer window for Premier League clubs is now closed.
The excellent Sporting Intelligence have been analysing what each of the 20 Premier League clubs have spent – both in total and the net spending (less players sold).
With a day to go (9.30pm Wednesday night) £1.252bn had been paid out by Newcastle United and the other 19 clubs.
After the window closed, the total spend at 8.30pm on Thursday 8 August is showing as £1.403bn (pending news on Iwobi’s potential move to Everton and NB: sales will still be allowed for a few more weeks).
This Sporting Intelligence table shows total spending by each of the 20 Premier League clubs, as well as how much they have generated by sales, as well as then the net spend for each:
As you can see, Newcastle are 10th highest when it comes to spending with a total spend so far of £57.4m.
Whilst in terms of net spend after sales are deducted, Newcastle have paid a net £25.7m out, the 10th highest (Everton will push Newcastle into 11th if Iwobi transfer goes through.
