No hope under the Fat Controller unless a miracle happens

So here we go again History repeating itself on the Mike Ashley express to nowhere.

This time it really is time for Mr Ashley to go, enough is enough.

How much more time is going to pass until the penny drops that you are no longer running a successful business but destroying one instead.

Losing Rafa Benitez and now selling Perez, two key assets to Newcastle United, is only depreciating the club’s worth.

Successful businessmen are meant to be planning for long term stability and growth, being a force to be reckoned with, not short-term profits and free advertising.

In the 12 years of ownership we could have had success on the pitch, a team that wants to win and fight for the badge on their chest, led by a manager who can unite a team and a city in Kevin Keegan and Rafa Benitez while at the same time being able to have a successful and sustainable business for Mike Ashley.

Instead though we have had two relegations and a number of near misses, Joe Kinnear, the wally with the brolly, Dennis Wise, Joselu and Xisco – an unbelievable lowest of the low net spend in an ever more inflationary transfer market.

With Rafa gone and Ayoze off, Rondon still not anywhere near being signed, no word from anyone at the club on the “Takeover”, this is where we stand again at the start of pre-season.

Staring down the tunnel searching for a glimpse of the light at the end, already looking down the barrel of yet another gloomy season ahead.

NO Manager.

NO Goalscorers.

NO new Owners.

NO hope under the Fat Controller, unless a miracle happens.

Keegan, Shearer, Carroll, Nolan, Barton, Jonas, Rafa, Ayoze…how many more are going to be treat so badly by the custodians of our club.

This is shaping up to be a long summer and an even longer season.
