Newcastle United fans sent season ticket renewal deadline on Thursday – Countdown begins…

Newcastle United fans have been sent details of when the deadline is for them to renew their season tickets.

Thursday morning seeing emails sent out (see below) to supporters, immediately after the Premier League fixtures were announced.

Seemingly the aim being for Newcastle United fans to be so excited at finding out about when we will be playing Bournemouth, Brighton and Watford, we will be queuing (figuratively) around St James Park to renew.

They have given supporters only until Thursday 4 July as the deadline for renewing.

I particularly like this line from email sent out to Newcastle United Fans….

‘We would like to thank you sincerely for your ongoing support and we look forward to welcoming you back to St. James’ Park next season.’

Absolutely no reason for Mike Ashley to do so but another 5% rise in season ticket prices, this comes after last summer when prices also went up, some Newcastle United fans paying  more than 20% above what they had in 2017/18.

It is all a big joke.

Newcastle United fans asked to renew AND pay more when:

Nobody knows who will own the club.

Nobody knows who will be manager.

No players have been signed and we’re now on the 29th day of the 2019 summer transfer window.

The team/squad has actually been weakened with no attempt so far to try and buy last season’s player of the year, Salomon Rondon.

The email sent out to Newcastle fans on Thursday morning giving season ticket renewal deadline:

Dear ?????,

The fixtures have been announced for our 2019/20 Premier League campaign and you can now renew your season ticket.

You can renew your ticket with a simple online process, on our ticketing website, book.nufc.co.uk.

If you renewed or purchased your season ticket online last year, this process is the same. If you’d prefer to use our PDF version of our renewal guide, you can download it here.

From there, you will be able to renew for the new season, view account details including loyalty points and even renew tickets for friends and family.

We would like to thank you sincerely for your ongoing support and we look forward to welcoming you back to St. James’ Park next season.

When is the deadline to renew?

The renewal deadline is Thursday 4th July.

Subject to availability, vacant seats will go on general sale on Monday 15th July.

Has my price gone up?

The full price list can be viewed here.

The price of season tickets for supporters who are not on long-term price freeze deals has increased.

One-year season ticket deal pricing has risen by 5% throughout the stadium.

Newcastle United still compare very favourably within the Premier League, with the club offering some of the most competitive junior ticket pricing in the top flight.

An adult in the family enclosure will pay an extra £20 for the forthcoming season and a child an extra £4 – which equates to a rise of £1.05 and 21p per match respectively.

An adult in Category 2 seating will pay an extra £31, or £1.63 per match and Platinum Club adult season tickets will rise by £50, or an additional £2.63 per match.
