Amazon Prime confirm live TV coverage of two Newcastle United Premier League fixtures

As part of the new UK rights contracts, Amazon agreed a £90million deal to start streaming top flight fixtures via their Amazon Prime service.

The three year contract starting with 2019/20 gives them the UK broadcast rights to 20 live games, spread over two rounds of fixtures.

Now Amazon Prime have announced the Premier League fixtures they will be showing exclusively live in December, including two Newcastle United matches.

They will show all December midweek fixtures in the first week of that month, these falling on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of December.

So it will mean Newcastle’s visit to Sheffield United will be shown live on Amazon Prime. That game at the moment showing as a 7.45pm kick-off on Tuesday 3 December.

As well as that match, all the Boxing Day games are to be shown live on the Amazon Prime streaming service.
