2019/20 Newcastle United season ticket prices revealed on Wednesday night
The 2019/20 Newcastle United season ticket prices have been revealed on the eve of the Premier League fixtures being announced.
With so money coming in from other revenue sources, last summer the vast majority of clubs didn’t raise season ticket prices.
However, Mike Ashley raised the prices in all four stands, with some people paying as much as 20% more for 2018/19 compared to 2017/18.
Despite no certainty on who will own the club, who will manage the team and which players will/won’t be bought and sold, he is at it again.
Prices in every section have gone up and it looks like around 5% across the board.
Unless you are in the family section (and ignoring Seating Category Three which is just a very small number of seats) the starting price for adult season tickets in the Leazes and Gallowgate (Seating Category Two) is £659 for adults.
So much for Newcastle fans low prices compared to most of the rest of the Premier League.
That works out at £34.68 per match and that is committing to paying for the full season.
As for those in the East Stand (Seatin gCategory One) you are looking at £811, which is £42.68 per match.
