Very surprising Premier League form table ahead of Fulham v Newcastle
The Premier League form table ahead of Newcastle United taking on Fulham.
After the defeat to Liverpool, Newcastle are 13th in this Premier League form table.
NUFC picking up wins over Leicester and Southampton and a 1-1 draw at Brighton, making it seven points from a possible 18.
This six game run including defeats to Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
As for Fulham, you may be very surprised to see that they are above Newcastle in the Premier League form table.
They have the tenth best recent form, with three win and three defeats, nine points from a possible 18.
A classic case of once the pressure is off, a relegated team suddenly playing decent football.
Fulham meekly lost their relegation fight losing nine in a row but then won three matches in a row against Everton, Bournemouth and Cardiff. That run brought to an end by Wolves, a 1-0 defeat but Fulham did have 61% of the possession.
Also very bizarre, Fulham have the very worst defence in the Premier League and had conceded 76 goals in the opening 33 league matches.
Yet when Dendoncker scored the winner for Wolves on Saturday, it brought to an end six hours of PL football without Fulham conceding a goal.
Here is the Premier League form table which covers the past six matches for all teams:
