Official Sunderland Promotion Party organised for Monday – There might be still tickets available…
An official Sunderland Promotion Party has been organised.
The club having promoted (see below) an event on Monday late afternoon/early evening.
No update as to whether this is actually now going ahead after Sunday’s hilarious events.
Sunderland did lose to Charlton but Monday’s ‘celebration’ could still go ahead, as the Mackems did retain their ‘Taking of Trafalgar Square’ title.
The travelling Sunderland fans (minus those who didn’t buy the thousands of unsold tickets) having successfully seized control of Trafalgar Square from the Japanese tourists and pigeons.
A repeat of their success earlier this season when heading to the capital for defeat in the Checkatrade Trophy.

A massive disaster for Sunderland with a huge blow to their finances, now doomed to spend at least one more year in the third tier.
